It’s this time of the year again when tennis professionals all over the world gather and outplay each other on the clay courts of Stade Roland Garros for the French Open 2010, the second Grand Slam tournament on the annual tennis calendar.
It already started last Sunday and should end on June 6. Roger Federer and Serena Williams were the top seeds for this year. They both got into the second round. Same with Robin Soderling, last year’s runner-up and the player who beat Rafael Nadal. Dinara Safina, 2-time finalist, on the other hand, was an early upset by losing at the first round.
I really want Roger Federer and Ana Ivanovic to win this year. And of course, lesser rain delays.
